Fine, I will put your mind at ease...

This is not an invitation to drink any drinks, but my latest Summer Smoothie. An amazing and refreshing smoothie, delicious and filling, and a welcome boost on those mornings when it’s well and truly needed. 
Because my original recipe includes full-spectrum plant-based protein (complete protein), essential fatty acids, zero-added sugar, and a very low sugar content due to carefully chosen seasonal fruits and antioxidant-rich berries (GL: 14). 

This smoothie is also extremely rich in Manganese, as well as magnesium, phosphorus, and copper. It is also a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin C, vitamin E, calcium, iron, potassium, and zinc.
It is also ideal for a Ketogenic or Paleo Diet. 

Because you can add your favourite green powder* to the recipe, the nutritional values are not definite. You will have a higher intake of minerals and vitamins, and your body will be supplied with a surge of antioxidants.

Go on, drink it irresponsibly!

Summer Smoothie

Pomegranate Smoothie
 
4 ripe figs
2 Tbsp chia seeds
2 Tbsp flax/linseeds
2 Tbsp sunflower seeds
2 Tbsp pumpkin Seeds
1 scoop wide-spectrum green powder*
1 handful of blueberries
1 handful of raspberries
1/2 Pomegranate
 
Place all ingredients in a blender and blitz for a few seconds, until smooth.
Drink immediately. 


* Any Green Powder that contains raw, unprocessed and organic ingredients. The more they contain, the better!
