undoubtedly, soaked oats are the best alternative for an healthy breakfast, especially with the summer months arriving fast. The recipe could not be more simple, and require no effort, just soaking overnight in the fridge. The water will soften the oats ready to eat and activate the nuts and seeds, optimising their nutritional value. Recipe: 1 handful of Oat Flakes 1 Tbsp Hulled Hemp Seeds 2 Tbsp freshly grounded nuts and seeds mix* 1 Tsp Sunflower Seeds 1 Tsp Pumpkin Seeds 150 ml filtered Water 1 Tbsp Maple syrup *in coffee grinder or small food processor, quickly grind 1 Tbsp Linseed, 2 Walnuts halves , 4 Almonds, 2 brazil nuts Place all dry ingredients and water in glass jar and let to soak overnight. in the morning, serve and drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy irresponsibly. Quick note: the core molecule of Oat (Avenin) is similar to wheat (Gliadin); therefore, people suffering from wheat intolerances, or have Coeliac, might also react to oats, even to gluten-free oats.
