Matcha Green Tea and Avocado-Coconut Smoothie, with Kaffir and Ginger (Newsletter Summer Edition 2015)
You've got to try it!!!
INGREDIENTS (for 1)
· 1 Scoop Coconut and Matcha Ice cream
· 100 ml Coconut and Rice Milk (or Rice Milk/Coconut Water)
· ½ Avocado
· 1 Banana
· 1 Small handful of Baby Kale or Spinach leaves
· 1 Scoop of your favourite Greens or Wheatgrass/Barleygrass Powder (optional)
· 1 small handful of Berries (either Strawberries, Blacberries, etc…) (optional)
. Add a scoop of your usual Protein/Whey Powder for a boost of Protein.
· 1 Tsp Sesame Seeds
Put all ingredients in your blender and mix until smooth.
Enjoy straight away.
There is no need to add any sugar as the sweetness comes from the Banana and the Ginger and Kaffir treacle from the ice cream.
